Celtic & Usui Reiki

Reiki is a method of stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. The technique was developed in Japan and is typically administered by the laying on of hands. The word is Japanese and loosely translated means "Universal Life Energy". It is the channeling of universal energy for the purpose of harmonizing and realigning the chakras or energy centers, the meridians, organs and the auric field. The harmonizing takes place on all levels-physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.  The traditional Reiki is often referred to as Usui Reiki after Dr Mikao Usui who developed it.

 

Celtic Reiki combines the healing energy of Reiki with the ancient wisdom of the Celts and can be used for both healing purposes and goal manifestation. It contains a variety of new techniques based on Celtic ritual and diverse frequencies of energy, which offer the ability to tackle a range of everyday issues such as health, prosperity and finance, work, love and relationships.

 

Created by Martyn Pentecost, this unique style of Reiki is a variation of Usui Reiki and uses vibrations of the Earth and specific trees in order to create an environment suitable for healing and manifestation.

 

Both Usui and Celtic Reiki work well in combination with other forms of medical care and will not interfere with other healing modalities.  It is recommended that if one has an illness or other medical or psychological condition that in addition to getting Reiki treatments, clients should also consult a licensed physician or other licensed health care professional.

 

Reiki does not conflict with any religious belief systems. Reiki can be used alone or as a complementary therapy along with traditional western medicine. Regular Reiki treatments will help to promote and maintain your health and overall well-being.

 

I have found when I combine Usui Reiki and Celtic Reiki I may also be guided to use other modalities.  Clients are typically in a seated position and they are encouraged to share their story with me while we work.  As the story is told, the energy they are holding is brought to the front where it can be energetically transformed in various ways.  I have combined the Reiki energy work with Akashic Records energy healing techniques and found it to be very effective.
